My friends would say I am an unusual man. I am loyal, and well educated with many scholarships in the past. I have lived and worked in education five years in Japan, initially on Fulbright Scholarship. At the same time I enjoy working with my hands, love tattoos, music, growing plants/flowers, and respect those who take pride in their work. My friends vary from mechanics to teachers, musicians to leather repairman. I look at the person and not the position. I love history. I have spent most of my life learning to teach Japanese and English, as well as history. I value humor in a person, and the ability to sense others feelings or situations. One of my great pleasure is working on or riding my chopper. I am home and family oriented yet have little family. I also enjoy travel from time to time. My son will be attending the University of Amsterdam and I will be visiting. Therefore, my motivation to join this site.
